IMPORTANT!!!
For the TCAP Achievement Test, Instructional Availability (Previously Pre-Qualify) should be performed by a person with Administrator rights PRIOR to data entry occurring.
There are three categories of students who are not included in TCAP Achievement Test TVAAS data:
- Special Education students
- Students who were not in the school system for a minimum length of time (less than 75 days for the school year)
- TVAAS is only for grades 3 through 8. However, any student who took the TCAP Achievement Test will display on the selection lists. Students in K-2 should not be included.
A person with administrative rights should flag the students who should not appear on the selection lists.
By clicking the ADMIN button, then the Instructional Availability button, a list of all the students will display with a checkbox next to their name.
For Gateway and End-of-Course, Instructional Availability is handled after students are selected for the teacher. For these subjects, there are three categories of students who are not included in TVAAS data:
- Special Education students
- Students who were not in the school system for a minimum length of time (less than 150 days for the school year)
- Students not enrolled in the course (i.e, repeat test taker)
